Dignitas Personae

This new document--The Dignity of a Person-- is an instruction released by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith for Pope Benedict XVI. It "seeks to provide some responses to...new bioethical questions... to contribute 'to the formation of conscience' (n 10) and to encourage biomedical research respectful of the dignity of every human being and of procreation." Dignitas Personae is "to be received by Catholics 'with the religious assent of their spirit (DP 37)." (From Vatican Summary)

Education Phase II
Omaha, Nebraska

The second phase is a six- to eight-day total immersion course covering more advanced system-related problems, advanced teaching skills, case management, basic ethical issues, and NaProTechnology. Only those students who have successfully completed Education Phase I may attend Education Phase II. The dates for Education Phase II for the 2007-2008 class 30 are:

• April 18-25, 2009 for combined programs, Education-Phase II only medical consultants, and educators/supervisors
• April 19-25, 2009 for medical consultants
• April 20-25, 2009 for practitioners

Love & Life Unlimited Conference

The Love and Life Unlimited Conference is a conference where we; ponder the truth and beauty of the Catholic vision of marriage, family, and sexuality; promote the integrated, Catholic vision of the Pope Paul VI Institute: a dynamic vision of reproductive health and healthcare services; and proclaim this vision to family, friends, fellow-parishioners and colleagues. Dates for this event are:

• Monday morning, April 20, 2009 through Friday morning, April 24, 2009.
• Monday morning, October 5, 2009 through Friday morning, October 9, 2009.
